Down Home Blues - 15 June 2013
Each month on a Saturday we'll offer a one hour class taught by a range of our favourite teachers from London and beyond. Then, grab yourself a drink, chill out on a sofa, chat with your friends and dance the night away to four hours of blues music from a great series of DJs and live music. From slow and sultry to up and funky, we'll have something for everyone! All this in the heart of the City of London? And how!
On 15th June, we have two of the best blues musicians in London playing an all-acoustic set. Robin Bibi will be playing exclusively for blues dancers for the first time. He's a musician in demand, and when you hear his voice and see him play, you'll know why we booked him six months in advance! He'll be joined by Alan Glen on harmonica who has headed up some of the best bands we've ever booked, including the All Stars at Blues Shakedown. We'll have a class open to everyone at 8pm. Then, from 9pm we'll have our live bands and DJs playing the funkiest, grooviest and bluesiest tunes they can muster to keep you dancing till close.

Price: £10 (£5 for students and non-dancers)
The White Swan has a nice wooden floor, relaxed and intimate atmosphere and best of all, dancing till 2am! Classes are open to all from 8pm, with social dancing from 9pm to 2am.
